You felt something in your chest tighten and sting. "I'll make you tell me" Kurapika whispered, and a chain shot from his hand and pierced your heart. Was this even the Kurapika you knew for so long?! You turned towards your house and shouted "ALLUKA, CALL ILLUMI QUICKLY, SOMETHING THERRIBLE IS HAPPENING!!!" You stood there, aghast, unable to comprehend the hatred Kurapika felt. "Who are you really? Why did HE have a spider tattoo? And how did you know him!? TELL ME!" Eyes flame-red, Kurapika stood over the limp body of Hisoka, then turned to you. After some shouting, you heard a cry of pain, and rushed out the front door. Outside, Kurapika was sitting under a tree, brooding about eyes and whatever, when he saw a Spider Tattoo on Hisoka. Hisoka wanted back in on that High School action, and decided to hit you up. "YOU'RE THE LOVE OF MY LIIIIIIIIIIIFE!!!!" he would say, red eyes pooled with tears too stubborn to fall. "GALLLLLLREEENNN!!!!!" he would shout in the street, knocking on your 2nd floor window with his chains. You married Alluka soon thereafter, realizing that you couldn't deal with Kurapika's constant anger or Hisoka's stalking. You could always talk Kurapika down from the edge. You held his crying head until his eyes stopped glowing. You bought him a Spider birthday cake, and he totally smashed it, getting black cake icing everywhere. You thought he was so edgy, always talking about eyes and revenge, and the Phantom Troupe. When college came along, you met this cute girl who turned out to be Kurapika. You took him to the prom, and YOU led the dance.
In high school, you and Hisoka sat next to each other in Biology, and it wasn't long until you two were always hanging out at lunch, after school, and walking to school together. Illumi brought his squirrel back to the picnic to see you and Alluka "totally making out," when young Hisoka spied you from afar, thinking "one day I will make galren mine!" When Alluka's eyes returned, it seemed she didn't remember anything. Since it was a positive, innocuous thing, no one died. You looked into her midnight-black pupils and wished for your first kiss.

One day when you, Illumi, and Alluka were playing, Illumi went off to skin a squirrel while it was still alive, when Alluka turned to you with black holes for eyes. You had a crush on Alluka early on but were afraid to say anything because it would change your relationship with Illumi.
